- Occasionally use a lotion for open-pored genuine leather to nourish it and keep it water-repellent
- Oils and waxes already provide natural protection
- To guard against moisture and sunlight, additionally use a waterproofing spray with a UV filter

This style is carefully handmade. Our production facilities are audited according to amfori BSCI or SMETA. aunts & uncles is a member of the Leather Working Group (LWG). Our leather comes from LWG-certified tanneries. Independent LWG audits assess factors including energy and water consumption, wastewater treatment and chemical management.
